With a passion for helping people, Ancient Oak Therapeutics is a leader in massage and customization for the needs of clients. Jacquelyn Parks, the owner of Ancient Oak Therapeutics, attended massage school at the Myotherapy College of Utah, graduating with the “Best Clinical Award” of her graduating class in 2003. Jacquelyn is dedicated to her career as a massage therapist and has a goal to build a local business that showcases her passion for helping others and to feel their needs and pains are understood. Jacquelyn has had her own struggles with chronic pain from severe auto accidents, genetics, and other physiological hurdles. Jacquelyn believes her own search for relief from pain has given her the compassion and understanding that is needed in order to truly help others' suffering from pain that can’t always be explained. Jacquelyn is dedicated to continual learning because there are always so many advances in technology, medical, and therapeutic findings that can only help when working with future clients. Jacquelyn wants to learn and grow, and encourages her clients to learn and grow with her because a therapist can only provide so much therapy. The rest is up to the client to maintain.
